Who doesn't love Roy Choi? This is such a great quote from a great article on Choi's book - L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food.

It is similar to something I heard Christian say on MasterChef (oh, yes, I'm an addict) - that he cooks from within, and reminds me of Tita summoning the ancestors to help her cook in Like Water for Chocolate: A Novel in Monthly Installments with Recipes, Romances, and Home Remedies.

Cooking is best when it comes from the soul.  So is every action.
